"We enhance their
key personal and emotional skills"
Effort, respect
and knowledge
We are fully aware that our Spanish Baccalaureate students are going to bet on an important part of their future, since the grades they obtain during those two courses are going to be decisive. That is why our project is directed to obtain an excellent degree of preparation, both academic and personal.
We offer the possibility of studying the modalities and itineraries of the Spanish Baccalaureate to access any university degree, without any exception.

Internationalisation
As Humanitas Bilingual School Tres Cantos is committed to an education that is rich in languages, a great importance is given within the stage to learning English (one third of the day), French/German as a second foreign language. At this stage, Mandarin Chinese is an extracurricular offer.
Methodological project and learning styles
For this, as in Secondary Education, we continue to use different learning methods such as Project Based Learning (P.B.L.), Flipped Classroom, Team Learning (with collaborative and cooperative work techniques), Mobile learning, Experimental Learning, Challenge-based Learning…, Thanks to them, students develop key skills, taking into account their individualisation and contextualisation during the process.
Assistant students
Based on the Service-Learning model in which the students of the Baccalaureate stage become protagonists responsible for the education of their younger classmates. This project aims to raising awareness, prevent, detect and act in conflict situations between different age groups. It also has the goal of generating good practices, promoting ethical values in the use of new technologies, expanding social and civic competence, as well as information processing and digital competence. Baccalaureate students are trained using those contents and then elaborate their own materials, explaining and presenting them to the younger ones, becoming “active protagonists” in the process.
Shared Study
Students who excel in any subject always work on a voluntary basis with classmates who are having difficulty in that subject. The results obtained have been excellent.
Emotional intelligence and solidarity awareness
A global project based on the need to provide students with training that helps them develop personally and professionally in the future. This requires a combination of scientific rigour and flexibility that takes into account the great physical, maturational and psychological changes that students undergo at this age, increasing the intrinsic complexity of the stage.

Health education
This programme continues the joint effort developed in previous stages between the Physical Education Department, the School’s Nursing, Canteen and First Aid Services.
The objective is for students to learn the relationship between understanding nutrition, postural hygiene, physical activity and exercise as concepts; and how important these concepts are in their lives, so that they acquire the ability to integrate them into their day-to-day lives, critically analysing the effects of their application.
